Wedding Planning Checklist - ( Part 1 )

Whether you're planning an inexpensive wedding, a wedding with a nutty theme (Indian) or a wedding abroad, there is going to be a great amount of stress the few weeks before. Of course there are last minute things to take care of, confirmations, planning, wedding gowns and so on and there is also lots of emotional and physical stress, no sleep, anxiety and so on.

You will be so busy the last week, preparing for your honeymoon, confirming last minute guests, call the florist and wedding planner confirming details and discussing contracts. You should divide your time well and have your family help you out.

They will be in your face no matter what you say and that goes for mothers of all religions and races. You should pack at least a week before the wedding for your honeymoon if it's going to be a long one that way you won't have to do it in a rush and start planning your agenda really hectically.

Packing should get done early to leave time for the wedding planning

Make sure during the week before your wedding you confirm flights, tickets all travel arrangements, hotel reservations and so on. Do this at least a week before so that it's not sitting on your mind when you are busy with other wedding planning. the packing should get done early simply because packing in a rush is much harder to do and it's something you can get out of the way early so that you can relax the day before your wedding and not think of honeymoon planning and packing or Indian wedding planning for that matter.

Are there are people who have not responded yet for the invitations ?

Also during the last week before your wedding you may receive new R.S.V.P.s and notifications of guests who are coming last minute. There may also be guests who cancel, so during this week you need to give the caterer the final number of people attending your wedding so that they may prepare properly. If there are people who have not responded to the wedding invitations, before you assume that they are not arriving, call them and confirm whether or not they will be attending your wedding - that way you may notify the caterer in advance.
