When you begin planning your wedding, remember that many details need to be
taken care of and a lot of stress will be involved. In order to minimize this
stress, it is useful to prepare everything well in advance and get yourself a

not something you can cram for at the last minute. The more time you leave yourself
for planning and organization, the less pressure will exist.
Who makes the majority of your wedding planning decisions
One handy tool for wedding planning is a to-do list. Another must is setting out a wedding budget.
Once you have these two items in hand, you are ready to face the rest of the planning.
This is usually left to the parents of the new couple. Although some direction can be given by the bride
and groom, most of the details are generally taken care of by their parents. The
choices to be made are endless. From the type of ceremony (traditional or civic)
to the wedding location (church, sport complex, jungle). Nowadays there is a
trend to get hitched in exotic and unexpected places, such as in nature or where
the couple first fell in love. In order to organize all of your planning,
download a Free Wedding Planning Checklist and include all of your possible locations on it.
Part of any wedding planning checklist is booking a location in advance
Once you have made the
early choice of where to hold the wedding, you can delve into smaller details.
For example, if you chose to have the wedding in someone's private residence,
you can spruce up the yard with unique lighting and hire special garden
furniture. In terms of entertainment, you may choose to have music provided by a
DJ or a band. The more types of music that the group you hire knows how to
perform, the easier it will be to please your guests.
Choosing guests will take up a large portion your wedding planning
You must decide who to
invite, plan the invitations, and choose seating arrangements. Delicate
maneuvering is needed to seat people in a way that everyone will get along. Try
your best, although it may be impossible to plan the seating to universal
delight. An additional item to put on the to-do list is flowers: choosing and
transporting floral arrangements for the centerpieces and bride. If you have
many guests coming from out of town who will be staying overnight, you may need
to arrange transportation for them to the wedding. Catering should be selected,
and a wedding cake should be ordered.
Other details that need attention are clothing for the bridal party, such as
suits for the men and bridesmaids dresses. Don't worry about getting everything
done at once: you will slowly accomplish all of the tasks on your list.
Additional attention should be given to hair appointments, rehearsal dinners,
presents for the bridesmaids, confetti, center pieces, gifts for the guests, If
all of the planning is not for you, hire a professional wedding planner.
